Feedback – English

Update as of 17 November 2020

The formal engagement period has now ended. Feedback will be used to shape how these services will look going forward.

NHS England and NHS Improvement would like to invite you to share your views on spoken and non-spoken word interpreting services in Primary Care in the North East

Background

Our current interpreting arrangements in Primary Care come to an end on 31 March 2021 and we would like to hear your views.  If we helped you, or someone you know accessing any of these services, we would like to hear your views on what worked well and what could be improved.  Your feedback will be used to shape how these services will be delivered in the future.

When and where will this session take place?

Due to Covid-19 and in order to avoid bringing people together for face-to-face meetings and events we will be running an online questionnaire.  This will be open from the period 2–16 November 2020 and we will use this feedback to answer three important questions:

  • What has worked well?
  • What needs to be improved?
  • What are the things which matter to you most when using interpreters?

Who is this for?

This is for any patient who has used a spoken or non-spoken word interpreter when they have gone to their GP, Dentist, Pharmacy or Optometrist since April 2018. The session is also for people who have not used an interpreter since April 2018 but who may need to use an interpreter for a GP, Dentist, Pharmacy or Optometry appointment in the future.

We also want to hear from providers and clinicians who use the service as well as community and stakeholder groups.
