South West severe asthma ODN is strategically and operationally led by  frontline clinical experts. They oversee all aspects of the severe asthma service delivery and ODN-wide transformational service improvement. South West severe asthma ODN Core Team consists of:

• Dr Robert Stone – Consultant Respiratory physician (Somerset FT) & Clinical Lead for the ODN
• Lead Respiratory consultants from the four centers
• CCG representation
• Specialised commissioning representation (System Transformation Lead)
• Specialised Contracting
• Pharmacy

The South West severe asthma ODN is hosted by Somerset FT and is closely linked with NHS England South West Specialised Commissioning and other national and regional bodies.  This helps to ensure close strategic alignment between all ODN stakeholders.

The Severe Asthma Operational Delivery Network itself is composed of four nominated centers that provide severe asthma service across the South West region:

• University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust
• Somerset NHS Foundation Trust
• University Hospitals Bristol & Weston NHS Foundation Trust (including NBT)
