In this letter Ruth May, Chief Nursing Officer for England, thanks nurses for their continued dedication and hard work as the COVID-19 vaccination programme reaches its one-year anniversary, delivering more than 100 million doses in England alone.

Ruth also encourages nurses to get vaccinated to protect themselves and reduce the likelihood of transmitting the virus to colleagues and vulnerable patients.
