Medical College of Saint Bartholomew’s Hospital Trust, Charity Trustee
The Medical College of Saint Bartholomew’s Hospital Trust is a charity whose charitable objects are to promote medical and dental education at the St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry and to provide opportunities for research in and the advancement of medical, dental and surgical knowledge at the Faculty.
The Trust is seeking a new Trustee with a medical or dentistry background to join the Board and potentially the Trust’s Grants Committee. The core function of the Grants Committee is to develop the Trust’s grant-giving policy and work closely with the Queen Mary University of London Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry (the FMD) in relation to administering medical and dental research grants at the FMD. The Trust is particularly interested to hear from candidates who work or have experience within primary health care in East London (which is the community served by the FMD). Evidence of leading or delivering an initiative to further equality, diversity and inclusion is desirable as is competency in digital skills. This role is unremunerated.
