Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking two highly experienced, values-driven individuals to join our Board as  Associate Non-executive Directors.

As an Associate Non-Executive Director, you will bring independent judgement, strategic insight, and constructive challenge to support the Board in setting the Trust’s strategic direction and maintaining the highest standards of governance.

Essential criteria

Role 1: GP Associate Non-executive Director  –  We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with a strong background in primary care, including general practice, primary care networks, integrated neighbourhood teams, or wider community-based healthcare services.

Role 2: Community Associate Non-executive Director  –  We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who are new to NHS non-executive roles and do not at this point have the background to apply for a standard non-executive role. The ideal appointee will have strong roots in north east London, enhance the diversity of our board, bring experience of working in the NHS or university sector and demonstrate a commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
