NHS Commissioning Board design changes
Following the publication of ‘Design of the NHS Commissioning Board’ in February, the design work has continued to evolve.
A number of changes to the published document have been approved by the NHS Commissioning Board Authority Chief Executive, Sir David Nicholson, and the group of National Directors, in line with the authority to make these changes delegated by the Board. The main changes relate to the disposition of the running costs budget and the organisational design of the NHS Commissioning Board.
