NHS England hosts NHS Values Summit, 17 May 2013

NHS England is to host its first NHS Values Summit on Friday 17 May.

The event, which is being held in Bristol, will enable leaders from health and social care and staff, patients and local community representatives to share insights into how people’s differences can affect their experiences, quality of care and health outcomes.

Prof Steve Field, NHS England’s Deputy Medical Director, Health Inequalities, said: ‘These summits will help us understand key and emerging issues and will raise awareness of quality care for all.

‘We are committed to strengthening opportunities for all to participate in challenging strategic conversations and to influence positive change by embedding the values of the NHS Constitution’.
