Delivering personal health budgets in partnership with voluntary sector

Over the past eighteen months the Personal Health Budget Delivery Team at NHS England has been working with voluntary and community sector projects across the country, to explore best practice for partnership working in the ‘Gearing Up’ programme. The voluntary sector play an important role in the effective delivery of personal health budgets – from offering advice & advocacy to providing services such as brokerage and direct payment support to individuals.

On Thursday 7 August we are offering a webinar to discuss the key messages emerging from the evaluation of the ‘Gearing Up’ programme’.  It will consider the benefits for people and families when voluntary organisations are involved in the personal health budget process, as well as the advantages and challenges for both CCGs and voluntary sector organisations when working in partnership.

If you are working within a CCG or commissioning support organisation please sign up for this free webinar.
