Cold weather alert: Level 2 – alert and readiness

There is a 70% probability of severe cold weather/icy conditions between 1am on Thursday 24 December and 11pm on Friday 25 December in parts of England. This weather could increase the health risks to vulnerable patients and disrupt the delivery of services.
