Approved Particulars – workforce survey

The below outlines the requirements to fulfil paragraph 28(2)(e)(iiia) of Schedule 4, Part 4 to the National Health Service (Pharmaceutical and Local Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 2013 (as amended).

Approved particulars

Contractors with pharmacy premises included in a pharmaceutical list are required to comply with the requirements set out annually by the Workforce, Training and Education (WTE) team at NHS England in relation to a Workforce Survey. The survey is to be completed and submitted via the online platform, and a final submission date will be notified to contractors at the time that the Workforce Survey goes live. Contractors must complete and submit the survey in relation to each of their pharmacy premises within the timeframes and via the online platform specified by NHS England to comply with the requirements of this Term of Service. Provision may be made for large multiples to submit responses on behalf of all their pharmacy premises in a spreadsheet format. This should be agreed with WTE team prior to the annual survey going live.

The effective date for these approved particulars is 28 October 2024.
