Why the NHS is offering winter vaccinations

Flu and COVID-19 spread more easily in winter and can be hard to avoid. Every year, thousands of people need hospital care for flu and COVID-19. It’s important you have both vaccinations to reduce your risk of severe symptoms. Protection fades over time and viruses change. It’s best to get vaccinated as soon as you can ahead of the colder months. Read more at www.nhs.uk/wintervaccinations.
