1. Welcome and apologies
The Chair noted and accepted the apologies listed above. The Chair noted the meeting was not quorate to approve products. It was agreed to still proceed and gather feedback on the agenda items.

2. Minutes from previous meeting
The minutes of the previous meeting were circulated ahead of this meeting and were by the full membership approved.
3. Document review: AI assisted discharge summary (AADS) (enc 2, 2a, 2b)
AADS is an incubator site product aiming to reduce the administrative burden for clinicians associated with manually generating discharge summaries for inpatient stays.
Additionally, it aims to improve the quality of the discharge summaries and support patient ‘flow’.
It utilises AI to generate a draft discharge summary; however, the AI does not learn or retain information.
The draft is reviewed by the clinician prior to being sent to the patient or GP practice.
Opinion of the group
The group recognised the potential value of this initiative for patients and clinicians.
They discussed the documents and highlighted some concerns and queries relating to the inclusion of the AI.
Action
FDP IG Team to work with the Product team to update the DPIA to clarify the points raised, add more detail on patient and GP consultation and additional risks to strengthen the DPIA. Including describing in more detail the type of AI that is being utilised and the human review of outputs.

The FDP IG Team will work with the product owner to update the documents, once this has been completed the group agreed to review, and if appropriate, approve these documents remotely.
4. Document review: Local Analytical Hub update (enc 3, 3a, 3b)
This is an update to the Local Analytical Hub (LAH) which the group has previously approved.
The updates to this document include the addition of data collected by the ICB under a Schedule 6 of the NHS Standard Contract, and to allow – where there is an appropriate legal basis – data from the Strategic Commissioning Tool to be linked with the data held in LAH.
Opinion of the group
The group discussed the documents and highlighted some concerns and queries relating to the clarity of the DPIA.
Action
FDP IG team to work with the Product team to address the concerns raised, including the addition of risks, review of Common Law Duty of Confidentiality legal basis and consultation with GP stakeholders.

5. Document review: Strategic Commissioning Tool update (enc 4, 4a)
This is an update to the Strategic Commissioning Tool (SCT) that the group have previously approved.
The updates to this document include additional incubator sites to enable the programme to realise more benefits and improve the product.
There has been an update to allow, where there is an appropriate legal basis, data from the SCT to be moved into the LAH and linked with the data held there.
Finally, there is an update to include the use of AI to pull together information from publicly available and aggregated data to provide suggested and use-defined cohorts.
Opinion of the group
The group discussed the documents and highlighted some concerns and queries relating to the data categories and the differences between incubator and pilot products.
Action
FDP IG team to work with the Product team to address the concerns raised, including the separation between incubator and pilot and the source of living habits data identified in Section 10.

6. Document review: Staff Scheduling Tool (enc 5, 5a, 5b)
The Staff Scheduling Tool is an incubator site product. This product aims to improve the efficiency of the trust’s rostering system, reducing the expenditure of locum and bank staffing and increase visibility for clinical staff and management of schedules and rosters.
Opinion of the group
The group saw considerable potential for this product. They discussed the documents and highlighted some concerns and queries relating to the legal basis being utilised for this product, as well as the engagement that has taken place.
Action
FDP IG team to work with the Product team to address the concerns raised, including the verification of the legal basis and the data portability and to review the implications of possible inclusion of free text.

7. Document review: Community Wait List (enc 6, 6a, 6b)
Community Wait List Management Tool is an incubator site product.
It aims to create a centralised platform for all referrals, preventing disparate information, and allow the service referrals to be managed through to the point of completion.
Opinion of the group
The group discussed the documents and highlighted some concerns and queries.
Action
FDP IG team to verify with the Product team that there is no use of AI and share the correct privacy notice with the group.
