Outcome of the 2025 system review into intensive and assertive community treatment

In line with the 2024/25 NHS Planning Guidance, all Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) reviewed their community mental health services to ensure effective, assertive support for people with Severe Mental Illness (SMI). An initial round of reviews took place in September 2024 and in June 2025 ICBs were asked to assess progress against local improvement plans.  NHS England asked all ICBs to publish the results of their reviews via their own websites and links to these reviews are below.
