What is involved in studying to be a nurse?
You will be expected to complete at least 50% of your time in academic study and 50% of your time in practice, learning in clinical placements.
The Nursing and Midwifery Council have more information on standards for education and training.
The University will secure appropriate placements for students. Sometimes other placement opportunities arise, such as ‘healthcare commissioning’.
