Maternity smoking cessation pilot

In the Midlands we are currently offering a pilot stop smoking service in community pharmacies. Trying to stop smoking is one of the best decisions you can make for your own health, the health of your baby and your finances.

Who is eligible to access the stop smoking support?

Support is available for:

  • Individuals trying to conceive
  • Pregnant individuals
  • Individuals who have a child less than 12 months old
  • Associate household members

How can I access the service?

You can be referred to the service or you can self-refer.

To self-refer, simply check you meet you meet the eligibility criteria above and then visit or ring a pharmacy offering the stop smoking support. They will then talk you through the next steps.

Where is this service available?

It is currently available in the Nottingham and Burton-on-Trent area, at a small number of pharmacies. View the pharmacies taking part here:
