As the colder months arrive, it’s more important than ever to protect yourself and those around you from flu and Covid-19. With the countdown to Christmas now on, our teams across the Midlands have a huge range of clinics open to make it easier for you to get protected.
Whether you’re eligible a flu or Covid-19 vaccine, or both – there are convenient clinics across near you. Many walk-in clinics are open with no appointment needed, alongside booked appointments through the NHS App, the NHS Website or by calling 119.
With less than a month to go until Christmas, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to get your vaccination and be protected. Read more about the flu and COVID-19 vaccines.
Why vaccination matters
Flu and Covid-19 can cause serious illness. Getting vaccinated helps reduce your risk of serious illness and protect you, your family and friends. Those eligible are being encouraged to take up the vaccination offer.

Directors of Public Health issue winter vaccination appeal
12 November – As flu cases begin to rise across the region, Directors of Public Health in Birmingham, the Black Country and Solihull are urging everyone who is eligible to come forward for their flu vaccination as soon as possible.
Stay Well This Winter: Get Vaccinated at a Mobile Clinic in the Black Country
As winter approaches and viruses spread, flu mobile vaccination clinics are being set up to encourage people to stay well this winter.
The community mobile clinics are being hosted at a range of locations in Wolverhampton, Dudley, Walsall and Sandwell, with no appointment necessary.
Those eligible to receive their flu vaccine at the mobile clinics include:
- All adults aged 65 years and over
- people with certain long term health conditions, from 6 months to under 65s
- All children aged 2–3 years old on 31 August 2025
- Pregnant women
- Frontline health and social care staff, including those working in care homes for older adults
Those eligible for a Covid-19 vaccine can also receive it at the mobile clinics.

Find vaccination drop-in clinics in Coventry and Warwickshire by checking the table below.
You can also find walk-in Covid-19 vaccination site using the NHS website to get a vaccination without an appointment. You do not need to be registered with a GP.
And, if you would like to book a Covid-19 vaccination appointment, you can do this via the National Booking System or by calling 119.

Community Flu Immunisation Clinics
The autumn/winter Covid-19 vaccination programme is now live.
You can now book your Covid-19 vaccine online, via the NHS App or by calling 119 if you are eligible.
You don’t need to wait to be invited.
You can get the autumn-winter Covid-19 vaccine if you:
- are aged 75 or over (including those who will be 75 by 31 January 2026)
- are aged 6 months to 74 years and have a weakened immune system because of a health condition or treatment
- live in a care home for older adults

Our walk-in clinics can vaccinate eligible people for a range of different vaccines.

If you’re eligible for the winter COVID-19 vaccine and are aged 5 years or over, you can book a COVID-19 vaccination appointment online or in the NHS App now.
Or simply drop into one of our local walk-in clinics listed below. You can also get a flu vaccination at the same time.
You can get vaccinated at these clinics if you are:
- Aged 75 years and over
- A resident in a care home for older adults
- Aged 5 and over with certain health conditions that mean you are immunosuppressed.
