Vaccinations – Get protected it’s not too late

Why vaccination matters

Find out about vaccinations for babies, children and adults, including why they’re important and how to get them.

This Easter holidays some areas are holding catch up clinics for families to allow children to get those vaccinations that may have been given in schools, but children may have missed. HPV, MMR and MenACWY.

Check your region for contact details or clinics.

Get protected against RSV

From 01 April 2026 the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine will be available for free on the NHS to all adults aged 75 and over and anyone living in a care home for older adults. RSV is a major cause of lung infections like bronchitis and pneumonia. It is already available for pregnant women from 28 weeks of pregnancy to protect their babies from serious lung infection. Ask at your GP surgery for a vaccination, or check to see if you can get a vaccination at a pharmacy local to you https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/vaccination-and-booking-services/get-a-free-rsv-vaccination/
