As the colder months arrive, it’s more important than ever to protect yourself and those around you from flu and COVID-19. This Big Vaccination Weekend, our teams across the Midlands have a huge range of clinics open to make it easier for you to get protected.
Whether you’re eligible a flu or COVID-19 vaccine, or both – there are convenient clinics across near you. Many walk-in clinics are open with no appointment needed, alongside booked appointments through the NHS App, the NHS Website or by calling 119.
With less than a month to go until Christmas, we want to make it as easy as possible for you to get your vaccination and be protected.
Why vaccination matters
Flu and COVID-19 can cause serious illness, particularly for older people, pregnant women, those with long term conditions, and anyone with a weak immune system. Getting vaccinated helps reduce your risk of serious illness and and protect your family and friends.

In Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) we offer walk-in vaccinations that can be accessed via the mobile vaccination unit, community pharmacies and specialist clinics.
