Next steps

The arms-length body organisations that make up the partnership delivering the new care models programme were all present at the event and heard very clearly the points that were being made and have committed to taking these back to their respective organisations.

The new care models advisory board, which these organisations are part of, has also received the feedback from the event.

In addition, the new care models programme has been working with NHS Confederation, NHS Clinical Commissioners, NHS Providers and the Local Government Association (LGA) as part of a wider piece of work to share the learning and engage the wider NHS and care community in the new care models.

For anyone would like to keep up-to-date with the work of the new care models programme, you can do this via or by subscribing to our monthly newsletter.  Information about the programme is also available through Academic Health Science Networks and also from the Academy of Fab NHS Stuff.
