In a speech marking the 75th birthday of the NHS,  Amanda Pritchard, NHS England’s Chief Executive, addressed the innovator community to acknowledge their pivotal  role in supporting NHS transformation over the past 75 years.

Amanda was speaking at the Accelerated Access Collaborative hosted NHS Innovation Showcase for the NHS innovator community. The event brought together hundreds of innovators to support them to develop a dynamic and effective relationship with the NHS so that patients continue to get access to the best new treatments faster.

The inaugural showcase was timed to coincide with the NHS 75th birthday year, providing an opportunity to celebrate the individuals, ideas and programmes at the heart of innovation in the NHS today.
