There is a vacancy for a Non-executive Director (NED) at Coventry & Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT). This is an exceptional opportunity to share your talents and expertise to make a positive difference to the lives of people served by the Trust.
Essential criteria
You will need to have a genuine commitment to patients and the promotion of excellent health care services.
You will have senior level clinical and patient safety expertise gained from medical, nursing, or allied disciplines. Ideally, you will be a General Practitioner working in the Coventry and Warwickshire area with NED or equivalent experience. As a Board member, you will contribute to the achievement of our goal for the Trust to enter as early as possible into the new Foundation Trust pathway. You will serve as Deputy Chair (deputising for the Chair when necessary) of the Trust’s Quality Committee. You will play a lead role for the Board providing strategic and practical advice on the integration of our services into Neighbourhood Health teams.
As a future NHS leader, the successful candidates will be able to demonstrate that they meet the NHS leadership competency framework for board members (please see the candidate information pack below for the six domains). The competency domains are aligned to Our NHS People Promise, Our Leadership Way and the Seven Principles of Public Life (Nolan Principles).
