NHS England has responsibility for appointing Chairs and Non-executive Directors of NHS Trusts and Chairs of Integrated Care Boards (ICBs).  This function is manged by the Senior Appointments and Assessment Team. The Team also offers a range of support and advice including best practice, induction and development, appraisals and governance issues.
