There is a vacancy for a Non-executive Director (NED) at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust (RWT). This is an exceptional opportunity to share your talents and expertise to make a positive difference to the lives of people served by the Trust.
Essential criteria
This is a Finance focused Non-executive Director position. It is expected that the Non-executive Director will be a key member of the Group Finance and Performance Committee and will support the Group in external financial meetings and discussions, where appropriate. It is expected that applicants will have significant experience of NHS Finance and be able to communicate clearly and effectively on finance related issues, and the Group/Trusts financial position, risk, opportunities, and challenges
You will also need to have a genuine commitment to patients and the promotion of excellent health care services, together with senior level experience or board level finance experience
As a future NHS leader, the successful candidates will be able to demonstrate that they meet the NHS leadership competency framework for board members (please see the candidate information pack below for the six domains). The competency domains are aligned to Our NHS People Promise, Our Leadership Way and the Seven Principles of Public Life (Nolan Principles).
