  • Letter to CCG’s regarding the High Consequence Infectious Diseases (HCID) programme. NHS England is launching a new programme of work to consolidate the lessons identified in the response to the Ebola outbreak. The letter below from Dr Sarah Pinto-Duschinsky, Director of NHS Operations & Delivery, and Richard Jeavons, Director of Commissioning Specialised Services, provides CCGs with more detail about this programme, which will look to ensure appropriate systems and services are in place for High Consequence Infectious Diseases (HCID).
  • 25 March: The NHS England FAQ for EPRR has been updated with a link to the Public Health Regulations 2012 (in the answer section to question 12).
  • Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) have been informed of this letter and the EPRR supporting materials via issue 23 of the CCG bulletin published on the 9 November 2012. CCGs were reminded of their out of hours arrangements via issue 29 of the CCG bulletin published on 21 February 2013.
