Are you a GP who has retired or is about to? Primary Care Support England (PSCE) is now accepting 2019/20 Pensions annual allowance compensation policy application forms from GPs who have or who will have retired by 31 March 2021 for endorsement. GPs should submit their application forms to PCSE between Monday 22 February and Sunday 21 March 2021. Download the application form.
To submit your completed 2019/20 Pensions annual allowance charge compensation policy application form to PCSE please use the enquires form and select ‘GP pensions’ from the drop down menu.
Once you have entered your contact details you will be asked to select the pension query your form relates to. For this please select the ‘individual protection’ option and then upload your form. Completed applications received by 21 March 2021 will be validated by PCSE, then sent to the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) to be processed. PCSE will also send a copy to you for your records.
When your validated application has been processed you will receive a confirmation email from NHSBSA.
There will be subsequent application windows for all other GPs starting in late summer after the mandatory scheme pays election deadline for 2019/20 closes on the 31 July 2021. This web page will be updated when further information about this is available.
