Summary
The Ambulance Response Programme (ARP) aims to improve patient outcomes and increase the operational efficiency of ambulance service provision. The ARP impact assessment examines and seeks to quantify the impact on the ambulance sector as well as indicate opportunities for efficiencies and future gains in the wider system.
The impact assessment is based in part on the data and analysis within the independent ScHARR report (previously published) for phases one and two of the ARP, which assessed the effects of Dispatch on Disposition and the code set changes.
