Green et al (2018) developed the digital ‘Quality of Life Wound Checklist’ to capture service user concerns through using simplified questions, images and visual representations, with the aim of enabling the patient’s voice to be heard.

This nurse-led evaluation study gained international interest, demonstrated strong partnerships with service users and reported that digitising of a checklist for wound management, enhanced communication. The new template was positively evaluated in terms of its utility and effectiveness in clinical settings to reduce unwarranted variation.
