This document is the advanced service specification for community pharmacy for the 2023/24 seasonal influenza vaccination programme.

This PGD is for the administration of inactivated influenza vaccine to adults in accordance with the community pharmacy seasonal influenza vaccination advanced service and national influenza immunisation programme.

Practitioners new to vaccination should note the specific training requirements to ensure their competency to vaccinate meets the expected standards for proficiency and patient safety. The required vaccination training is outlined in section 3 of the PGD, under additional requirements and continued training requirements.
