Criminal investigation into sexual assault in the Midlands

NHS England is working closely with Staffordshire Police following its investigation into allegations of sexual assault by an individual who previously worked at the Royal Stoke University Hospital and Russells Hall Hospital.

The hospitals have set up dedicated helplines for any patients (or guardians) who may have concerns about the appropriateness of their care:

  • Royal Stoke University Hospital – 01782 672540 (open 9am–4pm)
  • Russells Hall Hospital – 01384 322311 (open 8am–6pm)
