This request asked for the policies and procedures for holding providers to account/ intervention and relevant actions taken by NHS Improvement. The request also asked for the policies and procedures which would allow a member of the public to inform NHSI of situations requiring intervention and any learning points by NHS Improvement relating to intervention.

NHS Improvement held the requested information and decided to disclose some of the information it held. NHS Improvement withheld some of the information it held on the basis of the applicability of section 22 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
