The request was for copies of the papers for the private session of the meeting of the Board of NHS Improvement on 28 September 2017.

NHS Improvement held the requested information and decided to withhold the information it held on the basis of the exemptions in sections 31 and 36 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

On internal review NHS Improvement upheld that decision in part and decided to continue to withhold some of the information on the basis of those exemptions and the exemption in section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. NHS Improvement has decided to release some of the information that was originally withheld.
