The request asked for information relating to the candidates who applied for the Whistleblower Support Scheme including the number of candidates who passed the panel, dates of the panel hearing and ethnic background of candidates offered a job placement.

NHS Improvement held the information requested and released some of the information it held. Some of the information was withheld under sections 40 and 41 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

An internal review was carried out and the original decision was upheld.
