Summary

In spring 2016 we ran a consultation on guidance for the implementation of Freedom to Speak Up within primary care. It set out draft principals and actions to apply to all providers of NHS primary care services (GP practices, dentists, opticians and community pharmacists) to support the raising of concerns by staff about the delivery of services to patients. Thank you to everyone who responded to the consultation. We have now taken account of all the consultation responses and have developed final guidance that is published alongside this response.
