Their results showed that, overall there was absence of credible evidence and many studies were of low methodological quality and high risk of bias. They concluded that while practice recommendations cannot be drawn from the review, this area would benefit from an increase in the number and quality of studies evaluating the effects of interventions in the management of coughs in individuals with a cancer diagnosis.
