The United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) has agreed to manage and deliver the Improving Clinical Engineering and Physical Science Services Accreditation Scheme (iCEPPS) for those specialisms falling under the clinical engineering and physical sciences umbrella. This follows an agreed set of high level accreditation standards provided by the Academy for Healthcare Science with support from the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine.
