This document sets out the terms of reference for the Local Supervising Authorities (LSA) England Supervision Taskforce, established in January 2016. The taskforce has been established to oversee the development of a model and framework of midwifery supervision in preparation for when the recommended legislative changes to remove the regulatory aspect are enacted.
