The documents here are the 2022/23 National Tariff Payment System, which came into effect on 1 April 2022. Previous tariffs are available from our Past national tariffs page.

Following the July 2022 announcement of the NHS pay award a revised set of prices have been produced to aid providers and commissioners. The increased prices should be used in all circumstances where prices apply. For contracts operating on aligned payment and incentive arrangements, the fixed price element (including the element relating to elective recovery) will need to be uplifted appropriately, backdated to 1 April 2022. For contracts operating on the basis of national prices or on the basis of unit prices the updated prices should be applied from 1 September 2022; for details see the 2022/23 pay award guidance.
