NHS England’s complaints policy: This policy is currently being reviewed and updated to reflect both the transfer of the primary care complaints handling function to integrated care boards (ICBs) and the bringing together of NHS England, NHS Digital and Health Education England. From 1 July 2023 complaints to the commissioner are made directly to the local ICB rather than NHS England.




Updated policy containing up to date information relating safeguarding in terms of patients, complainants and staff. Further minor amendments have been made, with the aim to improve the service provided to our complainants. These include making specific regulatory requirements more clear within the policy and also improving the quality of communication with complainants.
