Published as part of the General Practice Forward View, the 10 High Impact Actions are a collection of ways to improve workload and improve care through working smarter, not harder.  This case study shows how patients of the Docklands Medical Centre are encouraged to make the practice website their first point of contact.  The website provides online symptom checkers, signposting to self help information and options to request a call back from a 111 nurse or to complete an online consultation with the GP.
