The aim of this enhanced specification is to support commissioners in establishing a seasonal influenza vaccination service for care and nursing home workers with GP practices in order to protect patients who are at increased risk of severe complications of the influenza by providing influenza vaccination to those social care workers as defined in the specification who provide direct care for patients.
