Network Co-ordinator – Malcolm Dixon

Throughout 2019/20 the Severn Regional Spinal Network has worked closely with colleagues and fellow networks in the Severn Region and nationally to continue a programme of improvement for Spinal Services.

The Network has the following boards/groups which meet regularly:

  • Network Board
  • Network Clinical Steering Group (All Lead Clinicians)
  • M&M (morbidity and mortality) Meeting
  • National Spinal Network Managers Meeting

The Network Board meets three times per year and the Network Clinical Steering Group meets bi-monthly. M&M meetings are held quarterly and additional specialist and sub group meetings are convened throughout the year. The annual work programme and key quality outcome data are presented and discussed with agreed actions and shared with NHSE&I.
