South West Paediatric Critical Care Operational Delivery Network

The South West Paediatric Critical Care Operational Delivery Network was formally commissioned at the end of 2019/20 as a response to the National Paediatric Critical Care and Surgery in Children Review. It is one of 10 Paediatric Critical Care Operational Delivery Networks in England.

The objectives for the Paediatric Critical Care Operational Delivery Network were outlined as part of the review of paediatric services delivered by NHS England and are as follows:

    • Ensure appropriate services are available
    • Provide services as close to home as possible
  • Deliver best value for the South West and the NHS
