Regional staff network and EDI leaders development programme 2022
The East of England regional equality team, in partnership with the regional Leadership Academy, are pleased to bring to you a series of development sessions for equality and inclusion leads and staff network chairs and members.
The sessions on offer aim to help drive change and improve workplace experience and patient care by supporting personal development. The sessions have been designed to support collaboration in learning, psychological safety and peer support for the target audience. The sessions also provide learning opportunities for executive sponsors, active allies and board members.
The key outcomes are to generate:
- Thriving staff networks
- Psychologically safe and inclusive conversations
- Peer to peer support
- Developing staff network leaders, allies and executive sponsors
- Building the resilience of staff network leaders and EDI practitioners
- Providing staff network leaders and EDI leads with career management and personal development support
- Supporting our EDI leads with the technical skills to improve their effectiveness within their organisations and systems.
Our intention is to provide an offering that encourages networking, collaboration and helps the participants develop a ‘system thinking’ approach. Critically, this programme has been developed to support individuals to develop their leadership skills, performance and be more impactful in their respective organisations.
