Health and wellbeing service rebuilds trust with Grenfell community

Five years after the devastating fire which claimed the lives of 72 people at Grenfell tower block in Kensington, London, Dr Bola Owolabi, Director of the National Healthcare Inequalities Improvement Programme at NHS England and NHS Improvement, visited the dedicated NHS wellbeing service looking after the long-term health needs of those living in the local community. In this short film Dr Owolabi meets the team delivering this vital service, including community connector, Nicholas, whose wife sadly died following the fire. Dr Owolabi also talks with inspiring individuals accessing wellbeing services, including a gardening group for local residents, and meets with children from the community, taking part in arts and crafts activities to commemorate the fifth anniversary.
