- Smoking; Intervention type: Smoke free pregnancy referral pathway – Intervention: Embed local stop smoking in pregnancy referral pathways within maternity services, by ensuring that all pregnant women are routinely tested for levels of carbon monoxide (CO), receive Very Brief Advice (VBA) on smoking and those who smoke are referred into behavioural support to stop smoking on an opt-out basis.
