Why do we hold care.data events?
NHS England is committed to listening to and working with professionals and patients to get their feedback on how to implement care.data. To achieve this, as well as setting up an advisory group of charity, data security and health experts, we organised a number of opportunities for people to tell us how they felt.
Care.data has held over 150 listening events and meetings involving GPs, practice managers, patient groups, other health professionals, patients and data experts have been held across the country. Through these events, more than 3000 people shared their comments and concerns.
If you would like to learn more about the feedback we received and what we did as a result, please see the care.data listening exercise and action plan presentation.
