Farzana Hussain, a GP who participated in the General Practice Improvement Leaders programme, shares her quality improvement journey.

With younger patients starting nursery for the first time and the flu season expected, September brings a higher demand for emergency appointments at The Project Surgery.

This month, lead GP at the practice, Farzana Hussain, shares how learning from the General Practice Improvement Leaders programme has helped her with:

  • working collaboratively and at greater scale across the CCG to spread her practice’s learning
  • helping Dogsthorpe Surgery in Peterborough increase their patient access to GP appointments
  • increase online bookings in her own practice.
