This guidance advises general practice, providers of respiratory diagnostics, pathology laboratories and integrated care boards on the provision of GP direct access pathways for adult patients with symptoms indicative of chronic respiratory diseases (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and asthma) and heart failure.
