This framework provides a current status overview of genomics in nursing and midwifery practice.

It details the actions required over the next 3 years to develop a genomically competent nursing and midwifery workforce, irrespective of role or area of practice; this will run concurrently with the 5-year Genomics strategy (published 2022).
