The Urgent community response (UCR) and ambulance referral resource is designed to support places and integrated care boards (ICBs) to implement referral pathways from 999 into urgent community response, where these are not already in place; or review existing arrangements, and support pathway transformation where needed to ensure optimal management of ambulance referrals across a system.
