The NHS Violence Prevention and Reduction Standard has been updated, and developed in partnership with the Social Partnership Forum, integrated care systems and NHS organisations who were early adopters of the standard.

The expectation is that all organisations will use the new standard which has been designed and developed to seamlessly transfer any existing workplans that used the 2021 version of the standard by their next work plan review.
