There are an estimated 150,000 plus bank-only workers in NHS trusts. To support NHS England’s strategic aim of improving the quality of bank provision as a flexible option for staff, the WRES team has developed a set of indicators designed to explore the experiences of this group. The indicators are aligned to the People Promise and People Plan.

The documents below outline the rationale for these indicators and explain how they will work. Data will be analysed and presented in a data report for NHS trusts later in the year.
